1. Digital Footprint This Presentation is on your digital footprint and how it might affect you at your job or in your everyday life.

2. Job Life Your digital foot print might affect you in your everyday life if you put any embarrassing stuff online. Mainly during interviews but at one point your boss might just search you up on the internet and see the stuff you posted. You might have insulted someone online and then you find out that you work with them and they might spread bad rumors about you are tell people how rude you were online.

3. Job Life If You decide to post a YouTube video when you were younger that would embarrass you or make you look bad your boss might not want to hire you. You might have been a flame war starting person on the internet and your boss might have seen your YouTube channel and found the comments you left and just saw how rude you might be, towards your work mates.

4. Keeping Your Digital Footprint Clean You could limit your computer time to one hour a day. If you limit you connection to the internet then you have less time to make bad choices or make yourself look like a less desirable person. Think about what you are going to post before you post it. You shouldn’t start a flame war in the comments of a YouTube video over a misspelled word or a mispronounced word. If you have nothing nice to say, say nothing at all. You shouldn’t put someone down just because they put you down, if someone puts you down just ignore it and pretend like it didn’t affect you. They will see that it didn’t affect you and most likely stop.

5. How I Would Explain A Digital Footprint To A Student Basically a digital footprint is what you do online ever since you were born or any record of you. For example as soon as your born two things happen, your birth certificate is made on paper and it is also recorded online. Probably the moment you get home your parents might start taking pictures and posting them to Facebook or Instagram. You digital foot print is basically any record of you or what you do on the internet.

6. What I Learned I learned that a digital footprint starts the minute you are born, and it continues until you die, maybe even past your death, for example when you die people might leave a RIP (rest in piece) blog or something for people to go and pay their respects for your from across the world. I also learned that whatever you do is recorded and whatever you search is recorded too. For example if you are 11 and you search up pictures of kittens, by the time your 18 google or whatever browser may have already recorded and sold the information of what you search to someone.

7. What I Learned I learned that you have to think before you comment or post something that might be offensive to one person or many. I learned that to have a good footprint you need to limit your time on the computer and make sure to think before you post anything. You boss might find bad things you left on the internet from when you were a child and did some illegal thins without knowing or just stupid things that might make you dangerous.

8. Everyday life If you post something on the internet such as your address or that you are leaving for vacation on a certain day. Someone might see this and break into your house to steal your stuff. If you post an inappropriate picture of yourself or give it out to someone that person may send it to their friend who will then send it to their friend and so on. People online might take your photo if someone posts it and send it to their friends so the whole world might so this picture that you took.

9. Everyday life If you were to insult someone on google or ask someone to fight and give them a spot to fight you at, then you might get confronted and beat up or insulted, someone might even call the policed on you or make you look bad. If you copy something and post it on the internet then you might get caught and fined if that thing is copy righted or trade marked. You might even go to jail which all would look really bad on your digital footprint.
