Parallel Lines are two lines that are the same length away from each other forever. They will never cross or meet at all. Continue

An Angle is two lines that are connected by a vertex. continue Congruent angles are angles that have the same measure. They do not have to be vertical or adjacent.

An Acute angle is an angle that has a measure of less than 90 degrees. A right angle is an angle that has a measure of exactly 90 degrees. An obtuse angle is an angle that has a measure of more than 90 degrees. Continue

Complimentary angles are two or more angles that are next to each other that equal exactly 90 degrees. Supplementary angles are two or more angles that are next to each other and equal exactly 180 degrees. Continue

A transversal is a pair of parallel lines that are intersected by another non-parallel line. Continue

Vertical Angles are made up of lines that share a common vertex and are equal to the other one. EX/ Angles A and B are vertical. Adjacent Angles are two angles that are next to each other and share a common line and vertex. They do not have to be equal. Continue

Alternate interior angles are angles that are on the interior of a transversal that have the same measure. Alternate exterior angles are angles that are on the interior of a transversal that have the same measure. Continue to Practice Section

If an angle is congruent to another angle, then that means that ______? A. The angle has the same measure B. The angle only has the same vertex

Next Question: two parallel lines that are intersected by a third non- parallel line is called______? A. Complimentary B. A transversal

The 3 rd question: what other angles are congruent to angle A in the transversal below? A: angles b,c,f,g B:angles d,e,and h

This is the final question: if angle a is adjacent to angle c, then is it possible for angle a to be vertical to angle c? A:yes B: sometimes C: no

Each question right is worth 25 points. 100%: you cheated! 75%:you could have used the guide to help… 50%: you need to study more 25%: need help- make sure you understand material 0%: are you sure you are thinking about math and not science?

Go back to first questionback Go back to second question back Go back to third questionback Go back to fourth questionback
