Clinical Supervisor ST 1/2 - Secondary care consultant / GP trainer ST3 – GP trainer Oversee day to day clinical work of trainee Workplace Based Assessments (WBPA) Completing a clinical supervisors report on ePortfolio towards the end of the post

Educational supervisor A GP trainer based in Primary care. Monitors progress Produces an Educational supervisor report (ESR) every 6 months

Educational review Every 6 months – January and May Educational supervisor – produces an Educational supervisor report (ESR) Reviews log entries and link to professional competencies Review evidence, WBPAs and PDPs Checks trainees self-assessment of 12 competence areas and assesses the progress in all 12 competence areas. Check adequate curriculum coverage.

Annual review of Competency Progression (ARCP) Panel reviews the evidence within the ePortfolio of every trainee and the reports from the trainees ES and CS. To decide whether there is sufficient evidence to justify progression from one stage of training to another. End of ST3 - ARCP panel that makes the final recommendation to the RCGP that the trainee is ready to apply for the Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT)

Out of Hours (OOH) 108 hours of OOH activity during GP practice attachment 6 hours per month of GP practice attachment
