2 Jesus suffers for the sins of humanity. After the Last Supper Jesus went into the garden to pray and talk with his heavenly Father who was with him in his suffering. Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus with a kiss, a signal to the Roman guards that he is the man who claims to be the Messiah. The guards brought him before the Sanhedrin, the supreme religious court of the Jews. The high priest Caiaphas sent Jesus to Pontius Pilate. When Judas saw what was being done to Jesus, he regretted what he did for 30 pieces of silver.
