5 Task Groups TG I: Service Codes / Auto & Non-Auto. Full Service assigned in barcode at piece level vs. mailing level Need to address FS service type codes on Auto/Non- Auto flats. TG II: Allocation of additional ACS charges Document how mailers will receive/charged for FS ACS records associated to non-FS rates/outside free window/duplicated mailpcs. TG III: Transportation Management System (TMS) Integration Method to get TMS data to mailer Mailers waiting on USPS IT to provide TMS connectivity/security samples. Document TMS processes and procedures

6 Task Groups TG IV: Priority Mail Open and Distribute Closed – writing requirements to submit to IT. TG V: Endorsements on Full Ser STD Mail, ACS Endorsements for letter mail impacts USPS agreed to mailer controlled solutions for short term May 2009 release. On-hold until resources available to work long term complete solution. TG VI: CSA’s to cover dynamic plant loads Preliminary agreement Finalizing document

TG IX: Consequences if …. Detail list of how various situations will affect full service Spreadsheet in MITS detailing situations USPS working on responses to additional questions

8 Task Groups TG X: 3rd party updates of data In discussion - expanded scope when PO! backed off commitment for Owner / Provider joint updates For the scenarios - identifying if framework can support authentication, authorization, integrity, and confidentiality of data access to specific users. TG XI: Range Records vs. Piece Detail When a mailing’s mail class changes and the mail class should remain unchanged IMR/PDR file. Mail.dat fails validation when range count doesn’t equal copies count in the IMR/PDR file. The range count must equal piece count – not copies.

9 Task Groups TG XII: FAST 1 hr Update Data Content Issue – updating eDocs with logical/physical data for Origin Entry mail. USPS agreed to business solutions. Need to resolve IT issues to implement business solutions. TG XIII: CONFIRM 3 hr Rule On-hold – identifying FS data timing issues. TG XIV: Co-Pal Issues – virtual sacks on pallets, co-palletizing trays or sacks across segments onto mother pallets, OCI files.

10 Open Issues 13 Open Issues not assigned to Task Groups Some are Perceived “Show Stoppers” Issue that is limiting a segment of the industry to participate in IMb Full Service USPS – Industry looking for solutions Implementation timeframes are not defined for all

11 Perceived Show Stoppers Periodical Mailings CPP-NY can not mix in co-mails with Full Service PostalOne! unable to support periodical pending in 16-20 ounces PostalOne! does not support IMb for each piece within a Firm bundle ACS transactions do not get passed for CPP- PO! until postage is paid (14 days after mailing)

12 Perceived Show Stoppers Commingling / Continuous Mailers –PO! does not support submission of virtual containers without a physical container –PO! does not allow updating key information after postage is paid. First Class Mailers using Optional DMM Pallet Option –PO! will not support until a later release Mixed Class Co-Mail –No USPS support until Nov. 2009
