3. INTRODUCTION The FYP is implemented over a TWO (2)-semester period. For the first semester, a student will register for 2 CREDITS (EKT 445). For the second semester, a student will register 4 CREDITS for EKT 446. Each student is eligible to claim maximum RM 250 for the purchase of items used for the FYP.

4. COURSE OUTCOME CO1 : Ability to apply and integrate theory and practical which has been studied to solve the engineering problems. (Project Management) CO2 : Ability to identify and solve the related engineering problem. (Project Report) CO3 : Ability to develop the suitable research methodology for the project. (Project Management & Report) CO4 : Ability to present and justify/defend the project proposal. (Project Report & Presentation)

5. COURSE EVALUATION Evaluation based on 1. Project Management : 30% 2. Project Proposal (Progress Report) : 50% 3. Presentation : 20 %

6. 7. PROJECT PROPOSAL (50%) Assessment 100% by Supervisor One copy of progress report should be submitted to the supervisor on 13 th week of lecture: Marking criteria: StructureTotal marks Report Organization/5 Objective/10 Literature Review/10 Methodology: Concept & Design/20 Reference/5 TOTAL/50

8. PRESENTATION (20%) Evaluated by two (2) external examiners Each examiner contributes 10% of the marks Will be conducted around 14 th to 16 th week of lecture (16 th Dec – 27 th Dec) The list of students with respective panels will be distributed 2 weeks before the presentation day.
