Objectives Introduce a hands-on curriculum to teach pelvic anatomy Participate in the building of a pelvic model Utilize the models as a 3-D guide to discuss common obstetric and gynecologic topics related to the pelvis 3

Small Group Outline Introduction – 5 Minutes Model Building – 40 Minutes –Bony Landmarks of the Pelvis –Ligaments of the Pelvis –Muscles of the Pelvis –Muscles of the Perineum Use model to visualize common obstetric and gynecologic topics – 5 Minutes Wrap Up – 5 Minutes 4

Purpose of clay modeling 5 Provide an additional tool to aid in the mastery of pelvic anatomy, a complex topic that is crucial to becoming a competent obstetric and gynecologic surgeon.
