Two types of items that you can add to your calendar –events (appointments, commitments, etc…) –tasks (jobs for you to do) There are multiple ways to add events to your calendar –using the links at the top left of your calendar –clicking on the calendar on the appropriate date Depending on the view (day, week, month, etc…) that you are using the events will appear differently –To see tasks, you must click the tasks link at the top left of the calendar Tasks will appear to the right of the calendar

12. Clicking will expand details Check when task is completed You can create a new task by clicking below a previous one. A new line will open up, and you can add your task.

13. Sharing Your Calendar

To share your calendar, you need to go into the ‘settings’ of the calendar. –Check the box for ‘Share this calendar with others’ This will share it with everyone in the daretolearn domain, or… –You can choose to share it with specific people by typing in their daretolearn.org email address/username

15. Placing Your Calendar on Your Webpage

16. –In the sharing settings of your calendar, additionally check the box for making the calendar public. –Be sure to save your settings

17. Go to the ‘Calendar Details’ link Click the blue HTML button in the “Private Address” section Highlight the given address Paste the address into a “New Link Article” in Big Medium –Follow the correct steps to post it to your web page (see previous training on Big Medium)
