1 Desert Biomes in Egypt

2 Where Egypt is located Egypt is located to the North of Africa. It’s Neibouring countries are Libya and Sudan.

3 Brief description of Egypt Egypt is as big as 1,001,450 km². But only 5 percent of Egypt is Cultivated, meaning that only 5% of Egypt’s area is were food is grown, Plants are grown, and also were people live. And the rest of Egypt which is 95% Is desert. Some of the things that Egypt is famous for, is for there Ancient Pyramids, sand sculptures and Tootin Carmen. Some of the languages spoken in Egypt are.  Arabic.  English.  French.  And a variety of European languages.

4 The different types of Desert Biomes that you find in Egypt  Cairo desert  Blue desert  Eastern desert  Sahara desert Although I am going to talk about the Cairo desert. Some of the Questions that will be in clued in this will be.  What Animals will be found in this biome.  What animals in this biome need to do to be able to survive.  The temperatures that are found in this biome for Day and night.

5 Cairo Desert The Cairo desert is one of the many desert biomes that are found in Egypt. The Cairo Desert is one of the main deserts which contains its amazing Pyramids and sand stone sculptures. A chart showing the temperatures of the Cairo Desert. As you can see Cairo’s Temperatures are Extremely hot, as the hottest temperature Recorded was 47.8 degrees. But it can also be very cold, as the coldest temperature recorded was -2.1. It also can get really cold in the night time.

6 What animals live in the Cairo Desert Some of the types of animals that live in The Cairo desert and most deserts in Egypt are.  Reptiles The animals in the reptile group are reptiles such as: Snakes Lizards  Beetles

7  Mammals There are Mammals such as these that live and learn to adapt to the harsh Cairo desert environment: Camels Horses Cairo Spiny Mouses

8 How animals in Egypt adapt to cairo deserts harsh environment. Here are some of the main things that animals have to do to be able to survive in the Cairo desert biome. Travel without water for long periods of time Survive in the Hot temperatures Defend off predators And hunt for food Those are just some of the hard things that animals have to learn to do to Adapt to the hot evironment.

9 Conclusion Egypt desert Biomes are quite harsh dry environments for both humans and animals. I believe that the Cairo desert is a good example and sums up what Egypt is like in the desert areas.
