3 Plan: ( very subject to weather, conditions, group etc. ) Thursday: 0745 - RV BCS by minibus. Load up. 0800 - Depart for North Wales via S. Gloucester Services. 1300 - Arrive campsite. Set up tents. Campsite has a pizza oven so suggest dinner there Arrive in the Ogwen valley. 1400- Warm up / basic skills on Craig Caseg Fraith Isaf 1500 - Evening at the campsite. Abseil / deep water solo traverse / boats / climb options Dinner - pizza oven at the campsite Friday: Breakfast at the campsite. Head up Crib Lem Spur (Llech Ddu Spur) on Carnedd Daffydd. Dinner - fish and chips in Betws y Coed Saturday: Breakfast and a full day heading up the North Ridge Tryfan, Bristly Ridge, round the Glyders and then back down through the Devils Kitchen. Finishing up back at Ogwen. Evening: Dinner in the Tyn y Coed local pub Sunday: Early start for Crib Goch and the Snowdon horseshoe. 14.00 Depart for BCS 20.00 Arrive BCS

7 Snowdonias 3000ft summits Daysack – capable of carrying; ·Sturdy pair of walking boots ·Spare fleece/jumper ·Spare base layer (long sleeved shirt) ·Waterproof jacket and trousers ·Trousers (If wearing shorts) ·Sun hat (Baseball cap) / sun glasses ·Hat and gloves ( it can get surprisingly cold ) ·Survival bag* ·Water bottle ( 2 litres ) ·Sun cream ·Whistle ·Day food, sandwiches, chocolate etc. ·Spare laces ·Personal 1 st aid kit ·Midge repellent / net ·Camera Campsite. ·Wash kit ·Sleeping bag* ·Tent* ( between 2 ) ·Rollmat* ·Stove ( between 2 ) ·Insect repellent ( more! ) ·Cutlery, mug, bowl and/or plate ·Spare clothing (don't over do it we are only away three nights) ·Food for the evenings and on the hill. To include hot drinks of your choice. (We will be able to replenish food there) ·Torch ·Money ·Camera ·Trainers ·Pack of cards, ipod, book (It could be wet) The school will provide tents, fuel and stoves. Items asterixed* on the kit list can also be provided. Please try to keep kit to a minimum to save room on the bus. Group kit: ( School to provide ) First Aid kits Ropes / harnesses / helmets / any climbing kit Group shelters

8 Key points: Be at school at 7.45am on Thursday Make sure that you have already got work to catch up on before you go Kit –be there in kit ready to go. Have a day bag packed for the Thursday pm and a second kit bag with camping / sleeping etc. stuff in Bring £30-40 for evening meals out, extra if the wet weather activities appeal Bring any sociable campsite entertainment Back for 8pm ish Sunday

9 Scramble options: Tryfan N ridge onto Bristly ridge Snowdon horseshoe with Crib Goch That ridge which goes up from the lakes on Snowdon up to the West to hit Snowdon proper from the SW. Crib Lem in the Carneddau but will prob require some bus juggling as it starts from Black ladders parking spot.
