Think Do you believe the “stories” in the Bible? Have you ever met someone who didn’t believe in the Bible’s miracles?

Gen. 6:1-5 ä The Lord saw how great man's wickedness on the earth had become, and that every inclination of the thoughts of his heart was only evil all the time.

Moral Decline: How? ä 6:4 The Nephilim were on the earth in those days - and also afterward - when the sons of God went to the daughters of men and had children by them. They were the heroes of old, men of renown. ä See Job, Psalms: “Sons of God” = Angels ä Jude 1:6; 2 Pet. 2:4 ä Violence: v. 11-13 ä Knowledge of God was gone!

A Picture of God and Mankind ä 1 Peter 3:20-21 The Ark was Salvation from God’s Judgement ä vs.21 Christ is also Salvation from Judgement ä John 5:24 "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes Him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life.”

The Bad News… ä Gen. 7:16 “The Lord shut him in.” ä The Door was Sealed Shut… ä There are Limits to God’s Patience ä Gen. 6:3 Then the Lord said, “My Spirit will not contend with man forever, for he is mortal;”

The Good News… ä Some will be glad! ä 2 Peter 2:5...if he did not spare the ancient world when he brought the flood on its ungodly people, but protected Noah, a preacher of righteousness, and seven others… if this is so, then the Lord knows how to rescue godly men from trials… ä 2 Tim. 3:12 Noah was “insane” ä 2 Pet. 3:3
