New Media/Technology Story Telling: Using Vogler’s Archetypes in Modern Media Christopher Vogler, native to St Louis Missouri received his BA in Journalism at the University of Missouri in 1971. After Serving in the U.S. Air force making documentaries for the Government, he eventually attended film school at the University of Southern California. As a Film student, reading Joseph Campbell’s book The Hero with a Thousand Faces, Vogler was inspired to form the theories we I am using today from his book, The Writers Journey.
