FFT Aspire – The two websites Always use Google Chrome – Internet Explorer can be a problem with Aspire FFT Aspire contains lots of very sensitive pupil data… … so DfE has insisted that the security arrangements are very tight… … and this means that the hardest thing about Aspire is logging in to it (!)

2. Logging in to the Admin website Your LA FFT contact will create an Admin login for your school (or FFT Support will do it, if you buy it from FFT directly) The Admin website address is: admin.fftaspire.org Your username will be dddddddflnnnnn where: – ddddddd is your 7 digit DfE number – f is the first letter of your first name – l is the first letter of your last name – nnnnn is a random 5 digit number

3. Activating the Admin account You will receive an email with an activation link Separately, the person who has created your account will send you an activation code You have a limited period of time to click the activation link and enter the code It will ask you to specify some security questions and answers – please remember what these are! You will be able to change your password

4. Inside the Admin website In the Admin website you can: – Set up users so that they can log in to the pupil data website (there is nothing in admin about individual pupils) – Manage the target setting process (e.g. specify whether or not users can edit targets in the pupil data website) – (Secondaries only) specify which subjects are offered in each year, and toggle between A*-G and 9-1 for benchmarking/target setting

5. Creating logins for the pupil data website The Admin user in the school has to do this If the Admin user wants to see the pupil data website then he/she will have to create a separate login for this for himself/herself The Admin login won’t work for the pupil data website – this is the source of much of the logging in confusion

6. You will be able to change your password If you are also the Admin user the two passwords can be the same… … but remember to go to the correct web address and enter the correct username for whatever you are doing

7. Logging in to the pupil data website The address is: fftaspire.org Your username will be your email address
