Statement of the Problem There is a general lack of campus pride both in the student body and in the admitted pool of students, we hope to create a bantam identity including existing tradition that will boost morale and encourage engagement in the campus and the Hartford community

Interviews We conducted interviews that addressed: – Current social events – Ideas for new events – Suggestions for improvement of school pride

Main Themes Improve Homecoming More advertising about events More access to Trinity gear More planning of parents weekend

Homecoming Friday: -Block Party on Vernon -Food (Chartwells and local restaurants) -Music -Bonfire: -Rite of passage for the first years (throw fears into the fire) -First years all walk to the bonfire together (concrete jungle to long walk to bonfire) -President give the Bantam toast

Homecoming -Saturday: -Breakfast on the quad -Tents on the main quad -Including tents for clubs, cultural houses, Greek organizations and class years -Create a space for all students to celebrate homecoming

Traditions (Old) -Housing and displaying of traditions (ex: have the lemon squeezer on display) -Make information about traditions available in Vernon Social -Redo the aesthetic of Vernon Social by incorporating traditions
