Beowulf: Prince of the Geats After freeing Herot from the clutches of gremdel, and then killing grendel,s mother, Beowulf Assumes the role as King of the Geats.

Then, a poor slave looking only to buy his freedom from his master, stumbles upon a cursed treasure. The slave steels a golden goblet, and in doing so, awakens a horrible beast…the Dragon

Angered by this, the Dragon ravages Beowulf’s kingdom in search of the thief

Beowulf sees the destruction done to his kingdom and sets out to destroy the dragon.

Beowulf meets the dragon face to face and an epic battle insues

Beowulf is strong, but is slowly losing the battle

Beowulf’s men abandon him, but his faithful companion, Wiglaf, stays and stabs the dragon in its fire box.

Beowulf seizes this as his chance to finish the fight, and cuts the dragon in half.

During the battle, Beowulf was stabbed by the dragon. The venom from the dragon had began to set in and Beowulf was fading fast. Beowulf’s only request was that a great tower be built in his memory and the dragon’s treasure be buried with him
