2. Brainstorm!  Take a look at your object. Hold it, observe it, think about it…  Now write a fact about your object on a post-it note.  Try to come up with at least 5 facts about your object. Write each one on a different post-it note.

3. Qualitative Data  Deals with descriptions.  Data can be observed but not measured.  Colors, textures, smells, tastes, appearance, beauty, etc.  Qualit ative → Qualit y

4. Quantitative Data  Deals with numbers.  Data which can be measured.  Length, height, area, volume, weight, speed, time, temperature, humidity, sound levels, cost, members, ages, etc.  Quantit ative → Quantit y
