Introduction Confucius grew up as a very poor boy, but he still maintained his academics in education. He had many friends. He also loved to read and write. He taught people to care for others because he thought it was better for poor people to have help. Since he knew how it was to have a poor childhood, he was able to understand others hardships.

Career’s Confucius had a very big amount of jobs. He was a shepherd, cowherd, clerk and a bookkeeper. When he was 24 he became teaching. Then when he reached 50 he became a judge and passed laws that helped get ride of crime.

Beliefs Confucius recognized societal values of compassion and very old tradition from old china. Confucius also believed in self- discipline. From this information, I am starting to think that Confucius was a very good and caring person, and a very good mannered person.

What made him famous? Confucius was very famous for writing some of the most influential Chinese classics. One of the books were ‘The book of documents’ and ‘The book of Odes’. In the book of Odes it begins with songs, poems. It has 311 poems. The book of Odes is important because it has lessons from states : poems or folk songs from ordinary people. Also, it had poems or songs of praise for the Chinese rulers and their lives.

His Death On November 21 479 B.C. something very sad happened, Confucius died. Confucius was only 72 years old, but he did have a very good life. After he died he became an official imperial of China. When Confucius died his teachings were written down by his young students and were compiled in the Sishu or the 4 book, which were studied by Chinese people for years.
