In the artwork Zebra by Victor Vasarely created in 1937, the area of emphasis is the zebra heads. The viewer’s eye directly goes to the zebra heads connecting and touching. The zebra heads draw attention to the viewer’s eyes and becomes the focal point. Also what makes it stand out more than any other part is that they have a different pattern and set of eyes when comparing the artwork to a normal zebra. The movement of this artwork makes your eyes follow the pattern towards the head. Another principle that Vasarely uses in his artwork is unity. The unity in this artwork are the zebras connecting. This makes a feeling of completeness in his artwork. Unity grabs the viewers attention because when it’s presented your eyes and brain are pleased to see it.

I created an artwork that uses the style of Op Art, similar to the artist Victor Vasarely. My artwork shows influences from this style by using optical illusions and used the line tool to create abstract patterns and contrast to produce effects. The emotion I was trying to express with this artwork is trying to find yourself if you’re feeling lost. I showed this by creating a path that leads to the end of a somewhat tunnel which by this I mean you always find your inner self. The are of dominance in my artwork is the white square this are stands out because I use black and red patterns to lead the viewer's eye to the white square in the end. I made the area have a brighter color.

I created an artwork that uses the style of Op Art. Similar to the artist Victor Vasarely. My artwork shows influence from Op Art by using different shapes and movement that attracts your eye. I used the shape tool to create the movement. The emotion I was trying to express is mixed emotions when someone does not know what to feel about themselves an explosions of emotions. I showed this making the shape with spikes and look like a firework. I used the black sad white and the custom shape tool. The are of dominance in my artwork id the firework star shape the area stands out because it attracts the eye right away and it’s the biggest area.
