2 Foggy conditions in Clyde River sends us farther north to Pond Inlet for the night.

3 We are flying on a 1940s-vintage DC-3 (a sweet ride by any measure!)

5 The weather is fine here!

6 Pond Inlet hunted 4 narwhal earlier in the day... The head and tusk (actually a tooth) of one is shown here.

7 The white is fat, the dark red (almost black!) is the whale meat.

8 The landscape between Pond Inlet and Clyde River could not be more beautiful! If you like mountains and glaciers!

12 The next day we head out to install two meteorological stations.
