2  A savanna is a rolling grassland scattered with shrubs and isolated trees, which can be found between a tropical rainforest and desert biome. Not enough rain falls on a savanna to support forests. Savannas are also known as tropical grasslands. They are found in a wide band on either side of the equator on the edges of tropical rainforests.  My Words: Savanna’s are grasslands with Shrubs and isolated trees that can be found in a desert biome and tropical rainforest, there is not enough water to have forest’s. Savannas are considered tropical grasslands they are found on both sides of the equator next to the tropical rainforests.

3  Savannas can be found in every continent but Antarctica  Most Of Africa except the top is Savannas, the middle of North America is Savannas, only a small part of Europe and Asia are Savannas, Most of South Africa is Savannas except for the top the east side and the top of Australia is Savanna

4  A savanna or savannah is a grassland ecosystem characterised by the trees being sufficiently widely spaced so that the canopy does not close. The open canopy allows sufficient light to reach the ground to support an unbroken herbaceous layer consisting primarily of grasses.grasslandecosystemcanopyherbaceous  The environmental factors of the savanna biome are complex: altitude ranges from sea level to 2,000 m. A major factor of this biome is the lack of sufficient rainfall which prevents the upper layer of grass from dominating, coupled with fires and grazing, low rain fall keeps the grass layer dominant. The land is mainly flat with a few short twisting trees. There very few rivers.  The Topography of the Savanna is complex the altitude can be from sea level to 2000 M. One very large factor is lack of rain which prevents higher layers of grass to dominate witch is coupled with fire and grazing low rain makes the grass dominant. The Savannas are mostly flat with few short twisted trees, the Savannas has very few rivers.  The trees are widley spaced leaving open canopys allowing light to come in.

5  Humans impact the Grassland Savanna by lessening the area of the land by making new space for industrialization. The trees and animals have less space to be so the population decreases with the land, making everything smaller. Large areas of grassland have been turned into farmlands for growing crops. humans being in the grasslands increase the chance of fires. When fires are started by humans and they spread quickly through grasses and damage the soils.  Humans can influence the grassland by decreasing the land area and making space for industrialization. The animals and trees have less space minimizing population. Large areas have been turned to farmland.  Humans also increase the chance of fire and when humans start fires they spread quickly through grasses and damage soil
