The animal that contracts toxoplasmosis disease is a cat of any kind.

Toxoplasmosis occurs from eating improperly cooked lamb, mutton, pork, goat or beef, or from drinking unpasteurized milk contaminated with Toxoplasma Gondi. Cooking meat (inner temperature about 70°C or 160°F) or freezing it (about -18°C or 0°F) should destroy the parasite.

Signs of toxoplasmosis can be a slight temperature on its own or accompanied by a sore throat with swollen lymph nodes, usually felt in the neck and under the armpits, headache, muscular pains and a feeling of exhaustion.sore throat
6
Toxoplasmosis is caused by a protozoan infection with the single-celled parasite Toxoplasma Gondi. It's found in humans and many species of mammals and birds
7
When toxoplasmosis is suspected, a blood sample is taken for an analysis of the specific antibody. With this sample, it can be decided whether a person has had toxoplasmosis and if the infection is in the body at the time of examination.blood sample If a pregnant woman is infected with the disease, an amniocentesis will decide whether the foetus is infected too amniocentesis
