1. Acts 5:1-16 The Lord’s church grew … both of men and women... (v.14).And believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women..

2. It had MEN and WOMEN doing God’s Will faithfully!

3. We need Men and Women like these in the church today! Men and Women needed in the church.. Acts 2:47 ‘and the Lord added to the church daily such as should be saved.” Have you been added to the church? What did Jesus get when he added you To His church?

4. ADDED TO THE LORD! When we are baptized into Christ (Gal.3:27) …we are added to the Lord.… (Acts 2:47) List of followers.. Called Christians Acts 11:26; Acts 26:28; I Pet. 4:16

5. Let’s consider First… The Men Needed in the churchThe Men Needed in the church

6. Men Timothy - Man of knowledge known “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures, …” 2 Tim. 3:15 “Study to show thyself approved” 2 Tim. 2:15 Psalms 119:11 “Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.” How many Timothy’s do we have at O’Neal?

7. Men Enoch - Man of Faith who ‘walked with God’ “By faith Enoch was translated that he should not see death; and was not found, because God had translated him: for before his translation he had this testimony, that he pleased God.” Hebrews 11:5 Genesis 5:21-24

8. Enoch ; 7 th from Adam Jude 14,15 Gen. 5:21-24 And Enoch lived sixty and five years, and begat Methuselah: And Enoch walked with God after he begat Methuselah 300 years and begat sons and daughters. And all the days of Enoch were 365 years And Enoch walked with God: and he was not; for God took him. Jude 14; 2 Kings 2:10; Psalms 49:15 How many men do we have at O’Neal walking with God?

9. Men Paul - Man of Dedication Philippians 3:7 “But what things were gain to me, those I counted loss for Christ.” 2 Cor. 11:23-28 - suffered for Christ Rom. 12:1 “a living sacrifice.” How many men at O’Neal are truly Dedicated to the Lord Jesus Christ?

10. Men Peter and John - Men who Fear God “For we cannot but speak the things which we have seen and heard.” Acts 4:20 Are we men who are willing to be used because we fear God? Acts 5:29 “Then Peter and the other apostles answered and said, We ought to obey God rather than men.” How many men at O’Neal fear God?

Sarah - Subjection to husband “… being in subjection unto their own husbands: Even as Sara obeyed Abraham,” 1 Pet. 3:5-6 1 Peter 3:1 “Likewise, ye wives, be in subjection to your own husbands…” I Cor. 11:3 “But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man: and the head of Christ is God.” Women

Ruth & Naomi - Relation with In-laws Ruth 1:16-17 “And Ruth said, Intreat me not to leave thee, or to return from following after thee: for whither thou goest, I will go; and where thou lodgest, I will lodge: thy people shall be my people, and thy God my God: 17. Where thou diest, will I die, and there will I be buried: the LORD do so to me, and more also, if ought but death part thee and me.” Women

Lois & Eunice - Teach their children Genuine faith - 2 Tim. 1:5 “And that from a child thou hast known the holy scriptures,” 2 Tim. 3:15 Prov. 22:6 “Train up a child in the way he should go, And when he is old he will not depart from it.” Good Mothers at O’Neal…’teaching their children”…are you? Women

17. Faithful “People who are here all the time!” Dedicated “Give time and money to the service of the Master” Sincere “Truly serving Jesus from the heart…” Good Students “Really learning, and keep learning God’s Word!”

18. Working Together In Love We are men and women who are Striving to be what God wants us to be. We sometimes fail. We sometimes get Weak and stumble. But we have workers…men and women.. Doing what God wants them to do in the Position that God has appointed them.
