4 Jammers Players with the Star-detailed helmet cover on Point scoring players Quick on their feet Navigation

5 Blockers Navigation Players with the Stripe-detailed helmet cover are called Pivots Pivots and all other fielded players are Blockers Hard-hitting, and sturdy on their feet

6 The Track Navigation Is not a perfect oval Play occurs in a counter-clockwise direction Originally banked in the 1970s Floor types are asphalt, concrete, wood, and sport court

7 The Pack is made up of each team’s Blockers Jammers The Pack Direction of game play Click on the blue team’s Jammer to get started. Each team fields 4 Blockers and one Jammer Navigation

8 Direction of game play In order to score points for their team, the Jammers must pass each opposing blocker’s hips.

12 We now have a lead Jammer!

13 The Jammers’ initial pass through the pack does not award points, but it does determine which team’s Jammer is lead, and which team controls the clock. Click on the Jammer you think has Lead Jammer status. Direction of game play Navigation

16 Points are awarded for each opponent the Jammer passes on her second run through the pack. And both Jammers are eligible to score points, regardless of Lead Jammer Status.
