March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 3 (ETRI) CID 4 (Editorial)-(1) Comment –Why does TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN have the acronym in brackets when Super PAN Coordinator does not? Proposed Change –Remove (TMCTP) from definition to be consistent Proposed Resolution –(from) TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN (TMCTP): A PAN operating in a TVWS band employing a Super PAN coordinator to form a multi- channel cluster tree topology. –(to) television white spaces (TVWS) multichannel cluster tree personal area network (PAN) (TMCTP): A PAN operating in a TVWS band employing a super-PAN coordinator (SPC) to form a multi-channel cluster tree topology. 4 March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 4 (ETRI) CID 4 (Editorial)-(2) –(from) Super PAN Coordinator: The PAN coordinator of a TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN which was access to the TVWS geolocation database and provides synchronization services for the TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN. –(to) super-personal area network (PAN) coordinator: The PAN coordinator of a television white spaces (TVWS) multichannel cluster tree PAN (TMCTP) which was access to the TVWS geolocation database and provides synchronization services for the TMCTP. (See CID 7.) –(from) TMCTP-child PAN Coordinator: A logical child device that is responsible for maintaining synchronization with its TMCTP-parent device in the TMCTP while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. –(to) television white spaces (TVWS) multichannel cluster tree personal area network (PAN) (TMCTP)-child PAN coordinator: A logical child device that is responsible for maintaining synchronization with its TMCTP- parent device in the TMCTP while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. CS: AP

March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 5 (ETRI) CID 4 (Editorial)-(3) –(from) TMCTP-parent PAN Coordinator: A logical parent device that is responsible for providing synchronization services to its TMCTP-child devices in the TMCTP using a channel allocated by the SPC if this device is not the SPC while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. –(to) television white spaces (TVWS) multichannel cluster tree personal area network (PAN) (TMCTP)-parent PAN coordinator: A logical parent device that is responsible for providing synchronization services to its TMCTP-child devices in the TMCTP while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. (See CID 10.) –(from) TVWS Channel: Spectrum unit allocation as defined by the TV bands channel availability database. –(to) television white spaces (TVWS) channel: Spectrum unit allocation as defined by the television (TV) bands channel availability database. 6 March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 6 (ETRI) CID 4 (Editorial)-(4) See IEEE Std 802.15.4-2011 as reference –nonbeacon-enabled personal area network (PAN): A PAN in which coordinators do not emit regular beacons. –personal area network (PAN) coordinator: A coordinator that is the principal controller of a PAN. An IEEE 802.15.4 network has exactly one PAN coordinator. See IEEE Std 802.15.4e-2012 as reference –low latency deterministic network (LLDN): A personal area network (PAN) organized as a star network with a superframe structure and using LLDN frames. –low latency deterministic network (LLDN) device: A device in an LLDN that is associated to an LLDN coordinator. CS: AP

March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 7 (ETRI) CIDs 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 (Editorial) Comment –CID 5: "which was access" s/b "which has access " –CID 6: "...which was access… " –CID 7: Super PAN Coordinator –CID 8: "Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN which was access to the TVWS" does not seem right –CID 9: Uses full name "TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN", when acronym should be used. Proposed Change –CID 5: See comment –CID 6: Change was to has –CID 7: Hyphenate - ie "Super-PAN Coordinator " –CID 8: "Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN which has access to the TVWS" –CID 9: Replace both instance with TMCTP Proposed Resolution –(from) Super PAN Coordinator: The PAN coordinator of a TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN which was access to the TVWS geolocation database and provides synchronization services for the TVWS Multichannel Cluster Tree PAN. –(to) super-personal area network (PAN) coordinator: The PAN coordinator of a television white spaces (TVWS) multichannel cluster tree PAN (TMCTP) which was access to the TVWS geolocation database and provides synchronization services for the TMCTP. –(from) SPC super PAN coordinator –(to) SPC super-PAN coordinator  Change according to CID 7  See sub-clause 3.2 on the page 5 CS: AP

March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 8 (ETRI) CID 10 (Technical) Comment –Wordy definition. Defines the term, not the function of the thing the term refers to (that goes in the normative text) Proposed Change –A device that is acting as a coordinator of a PAN and providing synchronization services to its TMCTP-child devices in the TMCTP. Proposed Resolution –(from) TMCTP-parent PAN Coordinator: A logical parent device that is responsible for providing synchronization services to its TMCTP-child devices in the TMCTP using a channel allocated by the SPC if this device is not the SPC while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. –(to) TMCTP-parent PAN Coordinator: A logical parent device that is responsible for providing synchronization services to its TMCTP-child devices in the TMCTP while it operates as the coordinator of a PAN. Resolution provider’s comment: Proposed change is slightly modified to have expression similar to the definition of TMCTP-parent PAN Coordinator. CS: AP

March 2013 doc.: IEEE802.15-13-0147-00-004m Submission 9 (ETRI) CID 11 (Editorial) Comment –beacon only period Proposed Change –Hyphenate - ie "beacon-only period" Proposed Resolution –(from) BOP beacon only period –(to) BOP beacon-only period CS: A
