CONSECUTIVE INTEGERS

CONSECUTIVE INTEGERS - Consecutive integers are integers that follow each other in order. They have a difference of 1 between each number. So 3, 4, 5 are three consecutive numbers.

CONSECUTIVE ODD INTEGERS – Consecutive odd integers are odd integers that follow each other in order with a difference of two. 13, 15, 17, 19 are four consecutive odd integers.

CONSECUTIVE EVEN INTEGERS – Consecutive even integers are even integers that follow each other in order with a difference of two. 8, 10, 12, 14 are four consecutive even integers.

PROBLEM #1: Find two consecutive integers whose sum is 17.

PROBLEM #2: Find three consecutive even integers such that the product of the first and second is one half the product of the second and third.
