Draw a line to represent a mirror with hatch lines
EXAMPLES OF IMAGES FORMED BY PLANE MIRRORS Draw a line to represent a mirror with hatch lines Label various points in object with letters (A, B, C, etc.) Draw an incident ray from point A to the mirror. The reflected ray should be on the same line as the incident ray. (angle of incidence = angle of reflection) Extend the ray behind the mirror as a dashed line.

Draw the reflected ray at the same angle.
EXAMPLES OF IMAGES FORMED BY PLANE MIRRORS Draw another incident ray from point A at an angle to the mirror. (Use a protractor) Draw the reflected ray at the same angle. Extend the ray behind the mirror as a dashed line. Do steps 1-7 for another point on the object. Draw the image where the dashed lines meet.
