All rights reserved.2 ESDT is a diagnostic tool which helps the administrator configure and trouble shoot the issues related to the external services and accounts (Exchange 2003/2007, MPE 2.x and MP 7.0) ESDT is available from UC admin which can be triggered on demand, as well as a SysAgent task which periodically check all the configured external services on the server. System level: Network connectivity of the server (ping, DNS lookup) Service port availability – non-secure, SSL (SSL connection and certificate validation if configured) Service configurations 2. User level: Everything listed in 1 ESA configuration and related system configuration e.g. COS Make service API calls using underlying calendaring interface ( validate service credentials (if configured to be used) and user credentials, make simple API call e.g. get message count, etc) Checked Items
