Will the graph of an exponential curve ever touch the x-axis? What happens to the y-values as x gets more negative? In the relations y=x 2 and y=2 x, are the y- values ever negative? Other examples of exponential equations: y = 3 x (something that keeps tripling) y = 4 x (something that keeps quadrupling)
