2. Introduction to Myself My name is Mackenzie Brooke Maness. I was born on October 8, 1990, which happens to be the same birthday as my mom. A funny fact you may not know about me is that before I was born, the doctors told my parents that they thought I was going to be retarded. I guess I turned out just fine…my parents still wonder. I go by Brooke to most people that know me well and continue to wonder why my dad thought Brooke was a better name than Mackenzie. I am getting married in 9 weeks to my high school sweetheart and the best man I know.

4. My fiance’s name is Andrew. He is a United States Marine and is currently working for the Wake County Sheriffs Department. We met through church and have been dating since February of 2008. We are getting married December 17 th 2011 and are very excited!

5. My Future Brother and Sister-in- law Along with marrying Andrew, I am getting a brother and a sister! Corey is Andrews brother and is marrying Carrie who is actually one of my best friends. They are getting married May 26 th 2012.

6. Since I was 4 years old, I had a dog named Sally. She recently died at the age of 15 from old age. She was my best friend and as you can see in the picture, I used to dress her up and paint her nails!

7. My Education I attend Campbell young enough to not give me attitude. I am also too short to teach older students because they would probably look down to me. All in all, I want to continue to work once I have children of my own, so I chose a degree that I will always love. University and my major is Elementary Education.
