HMC Update Training
2
The first part of hiring will be the same. Go through each step as you would previously. Changes start when you select “Accept Offer”
3
You will see only positions with the location and job code that match what the applicant applied to. *SAS will vary slightly and will see all SAS positions
4
If you enter a pay rate that falls outside the range for the position you will see this message For positions using market value (ex. Aerobics Instructor) you can click on override pay range
5
Once the “Accept Offer” portion is complete, you will initiate onboarding just as you had previously.
6
There will be fewer questions in onboarding – they are no longer needed with the position key. “Temporary” is now a status option. This is for summer staff such as Lifeguards and Day Camp Counselors.
7
Notice that although onboarding is complete, the status of the applicant is still “Offered”
8
There is a new step called “New Hire” you must complete or the applicant will not go over into Timekeeper/Payroll
9
First type in your name (who is hiring the person)
10
Then review the information you had previously selected regarding pay and position.
11
You will then see the status of the applicant has changed to “Hired” They will now go over into Timekeeper/Payroll
12
There will be an interim period where you will have to answer both the new questions in the offer step and the old questions in onboarding. This is to make sure that all applicants are able to go into Timekeeping/Payroll whether they started the old way or the new way. Go live is October 1 st All applicants currently in process must be hired by November 1 st
