Hello, do you like adventures, and a good story? Then watch this slide show! It’s about the magnificent and richly elegant R.M.S Titanic! This vessel was the biggest one ever in it’s time… a steam boat! Watch this slide show and go back in time to 1912 if the ship got success or tragedy . Find out what happened, and learn the facts! Learn this interesting story… the popular story of Titanic!
4
The Titanic was a R.M.S vessel built in The United Kingdom. She was owned by the White Star Line. She had a beautiful grand staircase and a glass dome. It had four smokestacks. The fourth was a fake!
5
The captain of Titanic was Captain Edward J. Smith. He was also captain of R.M.S Olympic Titanic’s sister ship! Olympic collided with British warship H.M.S Hawk! Parts to repair were taken off the Titanic! Then she lost a propeller blade! Parts were taken of the Titanic for Olympic repairs! It delayed Titanic’s departure from March 10,1912 to April 10,1912 !
6
The Titanic, Olympic, and the Britannic were built because White Star Line’s rivals (Cunard Line) had made two fast ships. They were the Lusitania and Mauretania. They were very fast! So White Star Line’s chairman J. Bruce Ismay wanted to compete. He wanted to compete on size not speed. That’s why the three giants were built! Olympic Britannic

What The Titanic’s Structure Look Like

Harland and Wolff Harland and Wolff shipyard is where Titanic and her sister ships (R.M.S Olympic/ H.M.H.S Britannic) were built! Harland and Wolff made a lot of White Star Line’s ships. They even made White Star Line’s first ship (R.M.S Oceanic!) They also made Majestic, Celtic, Cymric, Laurentic, and lots of more White Star Line ships.

What Happens? On April 14, 1912 (nighttime) In the Atlantic the lookouts spotted an iceberg! They tried to turn the Titanic but failed! The Titanic at high speed hit the iceberg! Water came in! The iceberg made not one but a number of holes! Titanic sent messages Even R.M.S Olympic heard the messages and other ships but they were all to far away! One ship was near and could come but didn’t come!
10
Amazing Begins……. The passengers were put into lifeboats. But the lifeboats weren’t all filled up completely! Men had a hard time, because of the women and children first rule! Did you know that Lifeboat #1 had only 28 people onboard when there could have been 65 people? But life boat # 11 had an overload 70 people!
11
Doom!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After a while the bow was fully under the surface of the Atlantic! So the propellers were lifted by the bows weight above the surface! It was so tragic The first smokestack fell down! Then the electricity went off and the Titanic broke into two pieces! The bow went under the surface, completely! Then after a while the stern sank also! It is the end of R.M.S Titanic!!!!!!!!!!!! Later the R.M.S Carpathia, a ship who had heard Titanic’s messages came. She saved the Titanic’s survivors.
12
Wreck!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Now I think you know the tragedy. Many people died! The Titanic is now a wreck at the bottom! It was very sad Titanic’s sister ship R.M.S Britannic also sank they say she hit a mine! The R.M.S Olympic was a success! She had a few incidents but unlike her sisters she survived! She also served in war! Once she was painted for camouflage. She last was demolished! Even R.M.S Carpathia (the ship that saved the Titanic survivors sank! She was attacked by the Germans!) After years James Cameron made the movie Titanic with the characters Jack and Rose Fact from my dad: Jack and Rose were real people on the Titanic !
