Through the faithful work of national missionaries in over 193 countries, the compassionate aid ministry of Cru is resourcing the Church to meet physical needs and to share the hope of Jesus Christ. 5. OUR MISSION As the humanitarian arm of Cru, Global Aid Network ® (GAiN ® ) serves to show the love of God in word and deed to hurting and needy people around the world through relief and development projects. Cru

6. WHO WE ARE The heartbeat of GAiN is God’s glory. GAiN is the expression of believers carrying out the Great Commandment hand-in-hand with the Great Commission. Cru

MY SPECIFIC ROLE As a Registered Nurse, the focus of my assignment is to support and expand GAiN’s current health programs in disaster-response situations, as well as pioneering and improving on-going health development projects by equipping healthcare workers, clinics and hospitals with medicines, medical supplies, medical equipment, hygiene kits and other non-pharmaceutical products and resources.

12. MY SPECIFIC ROLE I will also help in developing and implementing health promotion initiatives and mobilizing medical mission trips through collaboration with established ministry partners within and outside of Cru, local and international community partners, and volunteer health professionals here and abroad to ensure that our programs have a sustainable impact towards multiplying spiritual movements among the world’s most poor and vulnerable population.

18. Cru has no central funds for paying salaries and ministry expenses. Like many other mission organizations, Cru depends upon the consistent financial support of concerned individuals and churches. These contributions are used to fund the ministries of our staff members. Cru
