1 Government Decree, 26 th January 2006 1.Brown-eyed people are now second-class citizens. 2.Brown-eyed people now have to wear a green arm-band at all times. 3.Brown-eyed people are only allowed to sit on public benches marked with a green circle. 4.Marriages between Brown-eyed people and any other citizens are forbidden. 5.Brown-eyed people have to hand in all their jewellery. 6.Brown-eyed people have to declare how much money they own. 7.Brown-eyed people have to hand in all their ipods, mobile phones, CDs, computers and bicycles. 8.Brown-eyed children are no longer allowed to attend state schools. They are not allowed to play with other children. 9.Brown-eyed people are not allowed to use public transport. 10.Brown-eyed people are not allowed to use public libraries, buy books, use swimming pools or attend movies or concerts. 11.Brown-eyed people are not allowed to join youth groups or other clubs. 12.Brown-eyed people are not allowed to act in films or write books. 13.Brown-eyed people are only allowed to shop between 4pm and 5pm. 14.Brown-eyed people are not allowed to keep pets. 15.Brown-eyed people have to hand in their driving licenses and need police approval before leaving their neighbourhood. 16.A person who acts contrary to the above laws will be punished with hard labour or imprisonment.

Answer the questions on the orange sheets in your books in full sentences – consider them carefully and try to write at least a paragraph for each question. ( You can help each other answer the questions but noise levels must stay down.)
