Pies with bryndza/sheep cheese (Bryndzové pirohy) M.Tóthová 9.B

Ingredients: 500 grams of potatoes 100 grams of bryndza 500 grams of medium flour 1 egg 50 grams of butter cca 100 grams of smoked bacon 2 dcl of water salt and pepper To decorate: sour cream, chive, dill

Process: 1-Wash the potatoes and cook them unpeeled. 2-Peel cooked potatoes and grate them. 3-Put the flour, pinch of salt, egg, water and 2 tablespoons of peeled potatoes into the bowl.

4-Make dough and let it be for 10 minutes. 5-Make the filling: -Put the bryndza, butter, salt and pepper to the rest potatoes and mix it.

6-Cut dough on two halves. 7-Make thin pancakes from halves..

8-Cut the small pancakes and put a little of filling into them. 9-Close pies.

10-Boil pies in the water with salt. 11-Fry the dice of bacon. 12-Put the boiled pies on the plate and cover them with the fried dice of bacon.
