22. Let’s consider… A teenager who works full time at minimum wage. At 40 hours a week you would make $412.00 a week without taxes taken off. The yearly income would be $21,424. (This does not include deductions like income tax, EI & CPP) With deductions, your income would be $18, 232

23. The cost of a baby for one year… $14,613 Your yearly income… $18, 232 Money left over… $3619 (or $301 per month)

24. However…do you want to go back to school? Of course, you would be making less money, and you would have to be paying for school. Baby’s are cute, but they certainly complicate things. Would you have enough money to support your baby? For one year? And…remember there will be at least 18 more years after that…
