Description Deafness is referred to people who can’t hear, understand or process words well. The degree of deafness varies from mistaking one or two words or not hearing the words at all. In some cases there may be a problem or deformity with the nerves or the bones inside the ear canal.

Cause of Deafness Medical Reasons- Deafness can be caused by the bones in ear cannel not working correctly, the nerves sending the wrong signals Loud noises an contribute to hearing loss and damage to the ears

What are the Symptoms ? If you have … * difficulty hearing words in a conversation *the television is on high volume *emotions such as nervousness, stress, annoyed, embarrassment due to not being able to hear words *members in your family have hearing loss *are prescribed medicine that may harm your hearing system *a medical disease that harms the hearing system *exposure to loud sounds frequently these occurrences may lead to deafness.

Types of Treatments Hearing aids – a medical devices used to help a person hear sound frequency's better medicine such as pills – therapy for deafness – the use of alertness devices such as television system programs and cell phone alerts Types of surgery – cochlear implant is a medical device implanted to help a person understand the speech of words better
