Fraternities & sororities are values based, membership development organizations that focuses on building brotherhood & sisterhood through; character enhancement, leadership development, academic achievement, commitment to service, life-long friendship and social experiences. THE Problem?

A proactive system of identifying potential risks associated with chapter events and activities; assessing the impact they may have on the chapter, headquarters, and university community; deciding whether to accept the risks, modify the activities, or eliminate the risks altogether, and then monitoring events to ensure successful accomplishment of chapter’s goals.

Risk Management is a Chapter Responsibility ! Accept responsibility as both individuals and members of a campus community Embrace the proactive processes that serve as the foundation for their partnership among the institution Headquarters and Chapter Clearly communicate expectations to members and guests Design proactive processes to empower members to create a safe and productive environment Respond appropriately to decisions and/or incidents that are not aligned with expectations
