3 One day an elephant and a tiger met on a road in the middle of the desert. The tiger had a nail in his paw. The elephant wanted to help. But he could not.

4 He ran towards home. He asked his mom and dad for help. Sure enough the dad had tweezers.

5 Then the elephant ran back to where the tiger was. The tiger was lying on his side. The elephant said I'm going to pull the nail out of your paw. Is it going to hurt?? Maybe said the elephant. It didn’t hurt at all said the tiger. Good said the elephant. Thank you! Said the tiger.
