2 A Little About Myself 7 siblings Homeschooled for second, third, and fourth grade Transferred from Carman- Ainsworth Schools to Clio Area Schools in Winter 2009. Dedicated, motivated, and determined.

3 Academic Accomplishments 34 on the ACT Maintained a rigorous schedule, taking seven AP classes throughout high school Obtained passing scores on 3 AP tests so far Ranked 3 rd with a 3.9791 GPA Awarded Michigan Scholar Award from the University of Michigan – Flint

4 Academic Accomplishments, cont. Awarded presidential scholarship from Kettering University Science Olympiad Rotary Club Student of the Month – May 2011 Dual enrolled during Fall and Winter semesters of 2010- 2011, receiving 4.0 in both classes. Accepted into UM-Flint’s Honors Program

5 Athletic Accomplishments Played on JV Golf team one year, varsity for three years Freshman Year: Most Improved Player Sophomore Year: Coach’s Award Junior Year: Flint Metro League Honorable Mention, Scholar Athlete Senior Year: Most Improved Player, Flint Metro League Honorable Mention, Scholar Athlete, Academic All-State

7 Where Am I Going? Short Term Goals:  Maintain spot in top ten  Pass all of my AP classes with A’s  Receive 3’s or higher on the AP Chemistry and AP Statistics tests Long Term Goals:  Maintain a high GPA in college  By 2016, graduate with honors from University of Michigan – Flint with a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry

9 How Will I Get There? Obtain a bachelor’s degree in Chemistry from University of Michigan – Flint with a minor in Mathematics. Obtain a job as a lab tech while going back to school at the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor to get a master’s degree in Chemistry. Successfully acquire a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Michigan – Ann Arbor and do full-time research in the process. Become a professor at a university, teaching Chemistry while doing research.
