CELLS MAKE UP ORGANISMS Cells make up tissues (sheets of cells) Different tissues make up organs (enclosed areas in with specific jobs—like the heart or skin) Many organs work together as an organ system (such as the digestive system) Organ systems rely on each other The circulatory system brings food traveling through your blood from the digestive system to other parts of the body All of this is going inside an organism (YOU are an organism!)
