Taking action to avoid or reduce known risks Known risks are things that can be in our control, such as: Using tobacco products Participating in activities such as riding without a safety belt, or riding with an intoxicated driver. Obtaining regular check-ups and recommended services to prevent disease Recommended services include medical care, dental care, and immunizations for prevention See your doctor when you are sick to prevent the spread of disease at an early stage when it is more easily treated 6/13/20154
