+ Classroom Jobs Time Keeper Keeps time Makes sure the group is keeping a good pace on assignments Has the right to have the group to move on to the next task if they feel that the group is taking too long. You can come back to that part of the assignment or activity if there is time

+ Classroom Jobs Secretary Passes back graded papers to their group (Asks Ms. Winn at the beginning of class if there are assignments to pass back so she will remember.) Makes sure everyone turns in their homework at the beginning of class Turns in group work to the warm-up or homework box

+ Classroom Jobs Supplies Manager Makes sure everyone has their materials at the beginning of class: binder, hand outs, pencil, highlighter, etc. Gets materials for group when instructed during activities or assignments Makes sure the group has cleaned up all trash (including inside the desk) and put back materials where they go before they leave the classroom Has the right to make the whole team help clean up but must help as well

+ Classroom Jobs Facilitator Encourages everyone in the group by giving positive feedback and constructive criticism Keeps the group at a “dull roar” during activities and making sure everyone is in their LLPs during instruction Makes sure everyone is involved in the activity and shares his/her opinions

+ HOMEWORK ASSIGNMENTS THE SECOND YOU GET ANY PAPER, YOU SHOULD DO WHAT? WRITE MY FIRST AND LAST NAME WRITE TODAY’S DATE WRITE THE DUE DATE IN A BRIGHT COLOR (PEN, HIGHLIGHTER, MAP PENCIL)

+ PAPERS I RETURN TO YOU LOOK AT THE BOARD NEXT TO THE POINTS! PUT THE PAPERS EXACTLY WHERE THEY GO! YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR THESE GRADES IF YOU DON’T HAVE THE PAPER TO PROVE YOU MADE A DIFFERENT GRADE THEN THE GRADE STAYS IF YOU DON’T HAVE THOSE ASSIGNMENTS IN YOUR BINDER DURING BINDER CHECK, IT COULD HURT YOUR GRADE

+ TUTORIALS SIGN IN! Do not write “stuff, work, things, idk, etc.” Be specific! SOMETIMES I MAY NOT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU DEPENDING ON THE IMMEDIATE NEED OF THE CLASS IF YOU THINK YOU HAVE NOTHING TO WORK ON SHOULD YOU COME TO TUTORIALS? YES Ask Ms. Winn if you have anything to make up…. Because you probably do

+ CELL PHONES FIRST OFFENSE: HAND IT OVER WILLINGLY AND YOU WILL GET IT BACK AT THE END OF THE DAY. SECOND OFFENSE: HAND IT OVER WILLINGLY AND YOU WILL GET IT BACK WHEN YOUR PARENT COMES TO GET IT FROM ME (MEANING EMAIL HOME). THIRD OFFENSE: PICK IT UP FROM MR. WESTFALL.

I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR THE CHOICES I MAKE, AND HOLDING MYSELF ACCOUNTABLE.” MS. WINN, DO WE HAVE TO DO THIS? NOPE!!!
