In order to grow crops people must irrigate their fields In Egypt, there is an oasis, that allows for some crops to be grown Oasis – a fertile spot in the desert where water is found. Niger has subsistence farming and grows grains subsistence farming – farming where most of what is grown is consumed by the farmer and family.
