3. Click on Free Form Preparation of Free Form by Unit Maker Select the Type of Free Form A Free Form Request may be submitted for obtaining permissions/approvals required for both, Administrative & Customs functions

If the User selects Form type as ‘Customs’ User selects the ‘Free Form Sub-Category’ The contents of the application being submitted to the Office of DC Customs needs to be mentioned here Click on SAVE Preparation of Free Form by Unit Maker A Customs Free form may be submitted for obtaining permission for Cancellation of a Customs Transaction Amendment of Customs Transaction or Others

6. On saving the details for the first time, a unique Request id is generated On saving General Details tab a message is displayed as ‘Details saved successfully’ Preparation of Free Form by Unit Maker

7. If any supporting documents are to be submitted with Free Form, the details of the documents have to be entered here To generate acknowledgement receipt click here.

8. Submission of Free Form Request by Unit Maker to Unit Approver

9. These are the Action options available to Unit Maker Submission of Free Form Request by Unit Maker to Unit Approver After selecting Request Status, click on SUBMIT Unit Maker may 1. Cancel Free Form Request or 2. Submit the Free Form Request to Unit Approver

10. On submitting the request Confirmation screen appears with “Confirm” and “Cancel” options Unit User can confirm the request by clicking here Submission of Free Form Request by Unit Maker to Unit Approver

11. If Unit Maker prepares a Free Form but does not submit, the request will remain in his Inbox The user can view his Inbox by clicking here Unit can click on Request Id to view contents of Free Form

12. Submission of Free Form Request by Unit Approver to DC Office

13. Unit Approver’s Inbox Click here to open the request As a Unit Maker submits the Free Form Request, which comes to Unit Approver’s Inbox Submission of Free Form by Unit Approver to DC Office

14. Unit Approver may 1.Send back the request to user who has prepared it 2.Submit the request to DC Office or 3.Cancel the request These are the Action options available to Unit Approver After selecting “Request Status”, click on SUBMIT Submission of Free Form by Unit Approver to DC Office

16. Handling deficiency raised at DC Office

17. Unit Approver's Inbox Click here to open the request The status of the request will be ‘Raise Query’ If DC Office raises a deficiency, the request will come to Unit Approver’s Inbox Handling deficiency raised at DC office

18. If Unit approver selects Request Status as ‘Query Response’ External Remarks column is displayed

20. Free Form for Cancellation of Customs transaction

21. Unit may apply for cancellation of a Customs transaction which they have already submitted to the Office of DC Customs For cancellation of customs transaction, Unit user Should select “Cancel Customs Transaction” from the drop-down.

22. Select the Request Type from the drop-down

23. Unit may either search for the request id of the customs transaction or manually enter it With the help of the request submission date range, User can search its request.

29. Unit Approver’s Inbox, where the Shipping Bill request is under cancellation process at DC Customs Office. The request forwarded for Cancellation will be in a deactivate mode

30. The user can view the status of Cancelled Request

31. The status of the Customs Transaction for which ‘Free Form for cancellation ‘request had been submitted may be viewed
