Is the header running through all pages with last name of writer and page number? Is the heading properly written? Name, Professor, Class, Date? Are the margins 1” all around? Is the font Times New Roman? Is the font size 12 point? Is the Title in regular font in 12, non-bolded?

The bridge to our thesis statement is a series of commentaries that are chained together. They all comment on the lead. Did the writer restate the thesis statement in the conclusion without simply repeating the same thesis statement as in the Introduction? In the Bridge to the Lasting Impression, did the writer make commentaries to summarize the problem at the national level? Is the lasting impression compelling? Does it make you think and consider the writer’s argument?

Check all parenthetical citations. Is every citation documented in the Works Cited Page? Is the title of the works cited page “Works Cited”? Does the writer have at least three sources? Did the writer use hanging indentations? Are the three sources alphabetized? There should be NO web links or web addresses on this page.
