2. This is Vincent Van Gogh. This is Vincent Van Gogh. He painted this picture of himself.

3.  Vincent Van Gogh is a famous artist.  He was born in the Netherlands.  He spoke Dutch, English and French.  He worked as a teacher before he started painting.  He painted 2000 paintings but only sold one when he was alive.  He died in 1890 at the age of 37.

4. This is the only painting that Vincent sold when he was alive. It is called Red Vineyard.

5. This painting is called the Bedroom.

6.  Vincent liked to paint flowers.  His favourite kind of flower were sunflowers.  He painted lots of sunflowers.  What do you think the next painting will be?
