2. Here’s your task: 1. Embellish the cover. Make it as hot as Michael Phelps or as adorable as a kitten with a ball of yarn. 2. Divide the notebook into four sections. You’ll need some kind of tab (sticky notes work well) to quickly identify each section 1. Warm-ups 2. Grammar!! (Yahoo!!) 3. Notes 4. The Amazing Word List (this can be 5-7 pages only) 3. Your notebook, in all its glory, is due Tuesday, September 11 th. This is an assignment.

3. Each day you come to class, a warm-up will be posted on the board. Your job: Come in, toss you BFF a high-five, find your seat, take out The Love of Your Life (aka, your notebook). Label the entry with the date and get started on the task. Monday-Thursday warm-ups will be done in your notebook Friday warm-ups will be done on a piece of scratch paper so that I can collect and score it You may use M-Th’s work to help on Friday Warm-ups are considered “participation” and thus, are not able to be made up if absent, late, etc. We will not have a warm-up on Timed Writing Days!!
