9 PLC Information from James 9 Model Options FC5A-C24R2 (120-210VAC PLC w/ 14 Digital In/10 Relay out). This PLC supports 4 expansion modules (Analog expansion, Digital, etc) FC5A-C24R2D (same PLC as above but operates at 24VDC) FC5A-D16RK1 (24VDC 8 digital in/8 relay out, will need digital and analog expansion, supports 15 expansion modules) FC4A-HPC3 (RS-485 module needed on both PLCs for MODBUS). As to your question about the 24VDC on the analog, I got the following answer from my boss “ 4-20mA is the most popular with 0-10VDC being the second most popular. The 24VDC may be the voltage that goes over their 4-20mA current signal. The voltage is constant and may be 24VDC, it’s the current that changes in a 4-20mA signal.”
