6. Leadership Dialogs Appreciative Inquiry Consulting Mission The purpose of this Association shall be to celebrate Latino culture, support member needs and foster the development and improvement of food, nutrition and health care for Hispanics and their families in the United States.

7. Leadership Dialogs Appreciative Inquiry Consulting INITIATIVES a. To lead in the planning, implementation and evaluation of food, nutrition and health service delivery to Latino communities b. To promote professional practice, research and educational advancement c. To promote cultural competency of non-member food, nutrition and health professionals d. To strengthen the influence of the Association on professionals organizations, policy makers, government and other identified entities through coordinated action e. Highlight the contributions of member dietetic professionals with significant contributions to the Association and profession f. To support leadership development and promote member service utilization g. To identify, mentor and support promising future Latino dietetic professionals h. To maintain a national resource directory of food and health professionals and those interested in supporting the organizations mission

8. Leadership Dialogs Appreciative Inquiry Consulting Focusing our Passion Develop the tactical strategy around 2-3 initiative. 1. First consider the impact you want from the initiative then work backwards. 2. Once you have visualized the impact you want from the initiative consider the tactical steps that will need to be made to achieve your desired impact a reality. 3. Who will be responsible for the executing? What resources will be needed to make the initiative a success? 4. How will you know when you have succeed? What measure or tools will help guide you?
