We begin each day with Every Day Count skills. This reinforces conversion skills between fraction, decimals, and percents. Fractions should be reduced to lowest terms. A Daily Activity Schedule is posted on the Procedures Board at the front of the classroom and on TeacherWeb. We switch at 10:30 on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. On Tuesdays, we switch at 8:35. The switch time on Thursdays is 9:10. This time varies according to daily activities.

I appreciate morning greetings when my name is used. I encourage students to learn the names of all duty teachers. Students should use “Yes, Ma’am” and “No Ma’am” when appropriate. Students are doing fine job of lining up quickly in alphabetic order for lunch. I hear many compliments and greetings as they follow the lunch procedures.

Students should throw papers away when exiting the classroom. A warning is given prior to receiving a TBR for a minor classroom infraction. TBRs should be signed by parent/caregiver and returned the next day. TBRs are placed within envelopes. They are not to be discussed in class.

Certain behaviors are expected in an effort to maintain a SAFE and orderly classroom to optimize learning for ALL students. A Daily Behavior Report Card can be developed to address 3-5 specific behaviors. This plan will be utilized after sufficient data has been collected. The antecedent, behavior, and consequence will be reviewed in each behavior infraction. (A,B,C)
